Play OverviewPlay Overview

Demon's Tilt (2019) is a pinball game where you use your ball to shoot and kill retro enemies. Play involves the usual pinball flipper action, but tables are multiple screens and augmented with numerous ways to attack and score points. It stands out for combining shooting and pinball, updating popular retro games like Devil's Crush and Alien Crush.

To play you control a ball with flippers through the three distinct tables, each offering different challenges, targets and boss battles. You aim to not only hit the bumpers and ramps but also hit the various enemies. Like real-world pinball, a big aspect of play is making use of the tilt mechanics. Learning how and when to use this and the best sequence of paths and targets is crucial to progress.

As you progress you learn the complex scoring system and work to string together loops, ramps and targets. Achieving high scores is about mastering multipliers, combos and hidden bonuses. Although Demon's Tilt is essentially a single temple, it spans across multiple levels and ever-changing scenarios.

The result is a frantic heavy metal pinball experience. Perhaps most impressive is how much depth there is to discover - both in terms of mastering mechanics but also the secret mini-tables and side quests.
